Based on Pancasila and based on the 1945 Constitution, is a Foundation that has the intent and purpose in the field: Social and Humanitarian with a main focus on accelerating the development of the maritime sector in line with environmental conservation efforts, especially in the estuary, delta, coastal, sea and ocean areas in order to utilize the potential of the blue economy in Indonesia.

A center for cross-sector synergy and collaboration in the conservation and utilization of coastal, marine and ocean resources, for sustainable development by playing an active role in generating knowledge, innovative solutions and science-based policies in Indonesia.

Supporting the acceleration of strengthening the country’s defense and security system and encouraging national independence through self-sufficiency in food, energy, water, creative economy, green economy, and equitable blue economy without having to mortgage national sovereignty.
- Carrying out research and development cooperation in the fields of technological innovation, economy, socio-culture and environmental conservation in order to enrich sources of literacy, insight and science in Indonesia.
- Facilitating activities aimed at publishing research and innovation results from both national and international researchers that are in line with the blue economy, especially in the environmental, maritime, natural resources, renewable energy and nuclear power sectors.
- Together with experts across competencies, reviewing and formulating related to the government’s priority (project readiness criteria), including several parameters such as clarity in defining project objectives, availability of structured planning, technology selection, availability of human resources, funding and financing strategies, risk analysis, compliance with laws and regulations, and cross-stakeholder approval.
Our Role
- Providing recommendations and proposals for development policies to the government and other stakeholders related to the implementation of national priority programs and projects in coastal, marine and ocean areas.
- Conducting socialization and advocacy for global and national policies that have a positive impact on the wider community and are in line with environmental conservation, especially coastal, marine and ocean ecosystems.
- Building networks with research institutions, universities and environmental activists, both domestically and abroad to prepare plans, design and implement joint activities in the field of environmental conservation of coastal areas, seas and oceans.
- Building networks with funding institutions that support environmental conservation and sustainable development both domestically and abroad.
