OUR BASED
Based on Pancasila and based on the 1945 Constitution, is a Foundation that has purpose in Social and Humanitarian with a main focus on accelerating the development of the maritime sector in line with environmental conservation, especially in the estuary, delta, coastal, sea and ocean areas to leverage Indonesia blue economy potencies.
OUR DRIVEN
- Implementation of various national coral reef planting activities “Garuda Di Lautku” on Kodingareng Keke Island, Makassar, from the end of 2019 to March 2020.
- Achieving self-sufficiency in food, energy, and water, as well as ensuring environmental preservation, are 2 of the 17 priority programs of the government in the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2025 – 2029.
- United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 14 is a sustainable development goal that focuses on marine ecosystems, also known as “Life Below Water.” This policy aims to conserve and sustainably use oceans, seas, and aquatic resources to support sustainable development.
- At the 2023 High-Level Meeting of the AIS Forum, Indonesia outlined 5 key policies, including the expansion of conservation areas, the quota-based fishing, the development of sustainable aquaculture, the monitoring of small islands, and the cleanup of marine plastic waste. These measures reflect Indonesia focus on marine ecosystem sustainability while supporting ocean-based economic growth. This shows the government strong commitment towards implementing a blue economy.
- One of the agreements reached at COP29 was the New Collective Quantified Goal (NCQG), which aims to accelerate climate mitigation and adaptation actions, support sustainable development, as well as increase transparency and accountability in the distribution of environmental conservation funds.
- The success of Pakistan, the poorest country in Asia, with the Delta Blue Carbon Project in the Indus Delta region of Sindh, has motivated environmental activists to emulate and implement the same program in Indonesia.

A center for synergy and cross-sector collaboration in the conservation and use of coastal, marine, and ocean resources for sustainable development by playing an active role in generating knowledge, innovative solutions, and science-based policies in Indonesia.

Supporting the acceleration of strengthening the national defense and security system as well as fostering national independence through food self-sufficiency, energy, water, creative economy, green economy, and blue economy that is equitable without the need to mortgage the nation sovereignty.
- Carrying out collaboration onstudies and development of technological innovation in the fields of environment, maritime, natural resources, renewable energy, and nuclear power to enrich sources of literacy, insight, and knowledge in Indonesia.
- Together with experts, prepare recommendations for science and technology-based development policies and strengthen the capacity of human resources in the maritime sector in Indonesia.
- Review and formulate formulations related to sharpening national priority programs, strengthening the readiness of government priority projects (project readiness criteria), including several parameters such as clarity in defining objectives, availability of structured planning, technology selection, availability of human resources, funding and financing strategies, risk analysis, compliance with laws and regulations, and cross-stakeholder agreements.
Our Role
- Conducting outreach and advocacy for global and national policies that have a positive impact on the wider community and are consistent with environmental conservation, specifically coastal, marine, and ocean ecosystems.
- Building networks with institutions, universities, and environmental activists, both domestically and abroad, to plan, design, and implement joint activities in the field of environmental conservation, specificallyin coastal, marine, and ocean areas.
- Building networks with funding institutions that support environmental conservation and sustainable development both domestically and abroad.
